About Our Ministry

SugarLily was established to serve people in different transitional periods in their lives.  SugarLily serves the whole person - emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.  The holistic aspect of SugarLily is achieved through counseling, personal training, and ministry. 

SugarLily received its name from a pony named Sugar and her filly named Lily.  Sugar and Lily invoked the heartbeat of SugarLily in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.  The ponies played a large part in the growing up, sustaining life, and healing of a little girl and a woman.  Horses are an avenue utilized in counseling to assimilate life situations, increase creativity, and accelerate the process to meeting your needs and goals. SugarLily would like to give back to those who are looking for a fuller life. 

Michon Lubbers is the founder of SugarLily, llc.  Michon is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado.  She received her Master of Arts degree in counseling from Denver Seminary.
